Aug.20, 2024: REACH Executive Director Renie D’Aquila and Events Coordinator Tamara Veitch visited Ladner McDonalds today to receive $13,000 in proceeds from McHappy Day 2024. South Delta McDonald’s owner Nauman Jutt and staff Holly Sorley, Shawna Gradley, Jade Cook (Tsawwassen location), Aman Amandeep (Ladner location) were instrumental to the success of the fundraiser at both Ladner and Tsawwassen restaurants on May 8, 2024.
The community came out in full force on McHappy Day 2024 and REACH extends heartfelt gratitude for outstanding the $13,000 fundraising total. “I want to express Reach’s gratitude to South Delta McDonald’s owner Nauman Jutt, his amazing staff, the Delta Fire Department, Delta Police and all the volunteers and community members who came out to support”, says Reach Society Events Coordinator Tamara Veitch. “We are lucky to live in a place filled with such kindness.”
